Regulating children’s digital habits in the age of the metaverse

Sébastien Meeùs has published an article in Lex Electronica entitled “Regulating children’s digital habits in the age of the metaverse”, in volume 28, issue 4, devoted to “Law & Digital Generations”.

The article analyses the mechanisms that shape children’s digital habits in virtual environments and metaverse projects. In particular, it examines how the State, companies and parents share responsibility for establishing the rules and standards governing these uses, while children are subject to those rules without necessarily taking part in their development.
